?Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor
?We have an opening for a Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor to lead and manage the work of the maintenance department. Responsible for the up keep of all the mechanical systems, utilities, HVAC, production equipment, physical plant, office, fire prevention systems, and grounds. Requires advanced trouble-shooting skills and ability to implement and oversee a preventative maintenance program for the facility.
Key Duties and Responsibilities


  • Supervises and coordinates work schedules for the maintenance dept.


  • Assist maintenance mechanics when needed trouble shooting equipment repair.


  • Ensures proper maintenance of the facility equipment, building, roof and fire protection and alarm systems.


  • Manages maintenance supplies and parts to minimize downtime.


  • Inspects jobs in process. At completion ensures good standards of workmanship have been followed.


  • Specify and choose outside contractors when needed.


  • Design/Trouble- shoot extrusion fabrication punch tooling.


  • Recommends, plans, and implements equipment needs to improve production efficiency, quality and/or cost reduction.


  • Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service


  • Uses hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment (e.g., drill, lathe, mill, etc.) for project work and effecting repairs throughout the facility.


  • Strong safety advocate. Familiar with OSHA policies, practices and procedures and ensures the department is compliant.


  • Operates material-handling equipment (e.g., lift truck, overhead cranes, etc.) for project work and effecting repairs in the facility.


  • Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.



Key Requirements


  • Goal driven professional with a high sense of urgency


  • Strong organizational, time management, problem solving and computer skills


  • 8 years' experience in industrial maintenance management within an industrial manufacturing environment.


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.? Vocational Technical diploma in Maintenance/Mechanics a plus.


  • Experience must include machining, design capability and Integration; PLC Programing, mechanical, electronic, plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, and advanced electrical skills.


  • Proficient in math, reading, and writing.


  • Demonstrated proficiency in using computer-based programs, specifically Microsoft Office products.


  • Possesses excellent communication, telephone, and organizational skills, being able to interact well with customers, management, administration, and manufacturing personnel, while satisfactorily completing multiple assignments in a timely fashion.


  • Possesses exceptional judgment, initiative, discretion, tact, and personality in all areas of responsibility while maintaining high levels of confidentiality.





 

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
